Position title: Account Executive
Reporting to: Account Manager

Location: Baghdad
What’s the job?
The Account Executive is a really important part of the account team and wider client services department. The Account Executive is responsible for helping to build relationships with clients, suppliers and partners by delivering excellence, every day.
The Account Executive works closely with the Account Manager to ensure that all project work is delivered brilliantly. Always on time, on budget, with the best eye for detail.
An Account Executive needs to be full of energy and eager to learn. She/he should also bring new ideas to the table and be confident to share these with colleagues at all levels.
Attitude
Team skills – A successful Account Executive must:
• Possess good time management and prioritization skills; be able to manage several work streams and ‘keep the plates spinning’
• Build relationships with their Account Team and other departments
• Effectively manage expectations with the team
• Always look out for others in the team
• Liaise with all departments within the company on specific projects
• Assist the Account Manager in the provision of efficient client servicing

Workflow
Financial Management – A successful Account Executive must:
• Develop and administer budgets, allocating and managing time spent with the team
• Demonstrate clear and concise estimating and billing
• Ensure efficient billing
• Identify profit opportunities
• Be commercially aware and understand profitability
• Be able to collate financial data (time reconciliations Etc.) for the Account Manager
Project Management – A successful Account Executive must:
• Demonstrate the ability to listen and understand
• Strive to develop clear and concise briefing documents
• Manage day-today administration across projects to ensure successful client servicing. E.g. Status Reports, Timing Plans, Contact Reports, Meeting Agendas, etc.
• Possess and apply a solid understanding of relevant suppliers, their processes and briefing
• Ensure smooth day-to-day running of their accounts/ projects
• Demonstrate strong organizational skills to ensure smooth flow of work through the company
• Demonstrate management of deadlines for projects
• Efficient contact report follow-up keeping the client regularly informed of progress
• Be prepared for all-eventualities
Communication
Presentation skills – A successful Account Executive must:
• Be a good sales person – solid written and verbal presentation skills that effectively communicate the agency’s POV
• Demonstrate solid PowerPoint, Excel, MS Office skills and develop an understanding of DTP (InDesign, PhotoShop etc.)
Knowledge
Marketing skills – A successful Account Executive must:
• Possess a good knowledge of the fundamentals of sales across disciplines i.e., planning, creative, activation, evaluation and the ability to be able to apply this and insight to the advantage of client’s business
Brand knowledge – A successful Account Executive must:
• Demonstrate an understanding of the brand (e.g., Product, Strategy and Promotion)
• Maintain up-to-date competitive/industry data across all their accounts
• Take regular field trips so that the client feels the Accounts Executive is in constant touch with their industry/the market
INTEGRATED PATH knowledge – A successful Account Executive must:

Job Responsibilities
Serves customers by identifying their needs; engineering adaptations of products, equipment, and services.
Job Duties
- Identifies current and future customer service requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual customers and other persons in a position to understand service requirements.
- Provides product, service, or equipment technical and engineering information by answering questions and requests.
- Establishes new accounts and services accounts by identifying potential customers; planning and organizing sales call schedule.
- Prepares cost estimates by studying blueprints, plans, and related customer documents; consulting with engineers, architects, and other professional and technical personnel.
- Determines improvements by analyzing cost-benefit ratios of equipment, supplies, or service applications in customer environment; engineering or proposing changes in equipment, processes, or use of materials or services.
- Gains customer acceptance by explaining or demonstrating cost reductions and operations improvements.
- Submits orders by conferring with technical support staff; costing engineering changes.
- Develops customer's staff by providing technical information and training.
- Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating future legislation; advising customer on product, service, or equipment adherence to requirements; advising customer on needed actions.
- Prepares sales engineering reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales information and engineering and application trends.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
- Contributes to sales engineering effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range issues that must be addressed; providing information and commentary pertinent to deliberations; recommending options and courses of action; implementing directives.

Candidates must have at least Bachelor degree in the following:
Computers Engineering, IT Engineering, Software Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Communications Engineering, Control Engineering, Power Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
English Language is essential.
